O2 – Global Game Jam

Last weekend, Alex Coe and I participated in our second Global Game Jam. I have to say, I’m actually quite proud of what we came up with. Not only did we manage to incorporate moral ambiguity into it, but there’s some hints of player generated dynamic narrative in there too. :p Here’s a short gameplay video to explain the premise:

Nikki the Ninja

In my teenage years, I used to have a website called “sheepsheet.com”. It’s long since been taken over by squatters when I failed to renew the registration, but I’ve still got some of the old stuff that I used to put up there. Nikki the Ninja was one of them. It’s one of my earliest experiences of polishing up a game for release to the public. Back then my market was the old Game Maker Community, before Mark Overmars sold Game Maker to YoYo Games. I still remember characters like “jazzuo”,  “Mr.Chubigans” and “Shawn64” (may he rest in peace).

Unity3D Intro Tutorials

The storm has come! This is just me launching my personal blog. I’ll be posting some random stuff here that hopefully give people a bit of a laugh or make them think for a bit. This first post is somewhere in the middle – it’s a couple of tutorial videos aimed at Unity3D beginners:
